For Business Skills a short digital newsletter every week talk about a key point in business that you need to know. It an overview and not as in depth as the Business Notes Review Newsletter will be..most of which I learned through painful mistakes…or friends of mind learned through the school of hard knocks…and of course some MBA leanings and current book readings broken down.
This about basic business skills and entrepreneur basic training to help you not make the mistake of many of our online brothers and sisters in entrepreneurship. Let me tell you there are a lot of people out there making mistakes because they simply don’t know any better. They are ignorant of the better or right way to do or think about something business wise.
Such as better ways of management.
In school I had to learn management as part of my degree and I was a manager and trainer in my professional corporate life. Those skills have saved my butt on many an occasion so that is something I will write an issue about or basic finance or at least tracking. I’m not a saint but let me tell you about needing to grow, possibly becoming a partner or selling your business when you don’t have numbers…
So in the print newsletter I’ll talk about that and what I’m reading as well.
Special Note I do read a lot but breaking a book down into very simple take aways with some thoughts on how you could apply it to your situation is what you’ll get when that issue goes out.
This is here to give some some access to my traditional knowledge(Have an MBA and worked in government and corporate) to non traditional experience (got online & built a business, bought courses, learned new skills and had more experiences) so that you may develop some of these skills to help you build a successful business so maybe you will build a storytelling brand that you can keep or sell for a profit while creating the life you want…
